The Bible tells us that ‘love does no harm to its neighbour’ yet the way we live now harms our neighbours in poor countries. To prevent catastrophic levels of climate change we can all tackle climate change in three key ways - speaking out, changing your lifestyle (and mobilising your church to do the same) and praying.
Speaking out

‘The climate has changed’, says Andrew, 22, from Malawi
Climate change is a global problem that needs a global solution. You can join with others in speaking out.
We need to convince UK and world leaders to take urgent action to drastically reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and help poor countries adapt to the devasting effects of climate change. Join us to campaign for a fair, ambitious and binding deal on climate change.
In 2008 we joined with the
Stop Climate Chaos coalition and raised our voice to influence the UK's new law to cut emissions with great success- the
Climate Change Act.
New ways of living
As we ask leaders to make political changes at national and international levels, there are many simple changes we can make in our own lives to reduce our impact on climate change. Find out more by visiting our lifestyle zone or by ordering our lifestyle guide For Tomorrow Too.

Prayer
We believe in the power of prayer. Praying for poor communities affected by climate change and for leaders making crucial decisions is a vital part of our campaigning.
Please join us to pray for climate change and those most affected by the problem.
