Rwanda

Rwanda is still coming to terms with the ethnic strife that led to the deaths of almost a million people in 1994. The HIV and AIDS pandemic threatens to devastate Rwanda in equal measure and has been called 'the second genocide'.

Tearfund partners in Rwanda are working in reconciliation, care for orphans and widows, support for those affected by HIV and AIDS, food security and income generation.
