Tearfund is asking you to help respond to the needs of children at risk throughout the world.
Countless children are damaged by poverty, war, famine, disease or abuse. They don't cause their situations. But they often suffer the most from them.
Our Children at risk programme works through local church partners to bring Christ's love the world's most marginalised children. Children who have been orphaned, abandoned, or abused; who live on the streets or whose worlds have been shattered by war.
Please give to Children at risk today so that our partners can help vulnerable children reach their God-given potential.
We'd love you to give regularly to our programme. But we're also grateful for single donations if you're currently unable to make a long-term commitment. Your support will help us continue to reach the world's most unreachable children.
Patrick's story

Patrick was six when rebel forces took over the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
His mother died four years later, and when violent conflict flared up again in 2007, his father was killed in a rebel attack.
Now Patrick lives in a flimsy shelter at a camp in North Kivu, along with about 1,000 other displaced people. Food is scarce. People stay because they have nowhere else to go.
Patrick is struggling to find a future in a volatile region of a deeply divided country. He wants to go to school, but says, ‘When I try, they chase me away because I can’t afford the fees.’
Tearfund’s local church partners are providing basic services, medicine, shelter and sanitation in the camp. Now we need to scale up this vital aid. Like any other child, Patrick has plans and dreams. But right now, his daily struggle is for survival.
With your support, we can provide children like Patrick with a brighter tomorrow. Please help our partners bring a miracle of hope to children at risk.
