Apologies to Tear Times readers who were expecting to watch the magazine team singing So Long, Farewell to Fombe village online.

Unfortunately that footage was destroyed in a freak accident that had nothing whatsoever to do with editor Catherine Thomas’ embarrassment about the whole thing. Honest.

However we did manage to salvage this scene from the party as the people of Fombe sang and danced their goodbyes. Watch out for the one on the far right...
