PEPFAR Senior Management Accountant (1 year FTC)
Tearfund is looking for a UK-based Senior Management Accountant to ensure compliance of USAID regulations and standards in financial operations and administration of two US-Government PEPFAR/New Partners Initiative (NPI) projects in Kenya and Zambia.  The post holder will manage the day-to-day communication of information between field finance staff and Programme Funding/Regional Teams in Teddington, with the overall aims of ensuring timely and accurate reporting at both ends in order to ensure compliance, encouraging a positive and mutually supportive relationship.   You will have proven experience of working in complex financial environments, reporting on budgets and preparing financial reports, with good financial analysis and problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.  There will be a requirement for up to 4-weeks overseas travel to directly engage with Tearfund’s field offices and partner organisations.   The successful applicant will be required to have a CRB check.

Micah Challenge Intern

Micah Challenge UK is seeking an enthusiastic and committed volunteer to join the team in providing practical support for its initiatives, programmes and campaigns.

 

The work will involve some research, report writing, participating and contributing to campaign actions and events developed by Micah Challenge UK.

 

Highly motivated, you will need to have an understanding of global poverty issues.

 

Applicants would be expected to participate full-time for a minimum of three months, preferably six months.

 

Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Executive Assistant/Office Manager Micah Challenge UK
(Part
-time position / maternity cover)

Salary:  £20,000 p.a. pro-rata depending on experience +
non-contributory pension and other benefits

 

Looking after all aspects of running Micah Challenge UK Office 2 days per week, this role involves providing secretarial and administrative support to the small team, including responding to general enquiries, maintaining financial records and assisting with organising and running events.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of secretarial work or office administration
  • Excellent administrative, organisational and IT skills
  • The ability to interact courteously with a wide range of people on the phone, face to face, in the office and at events
  • Flexibility and a willingness to be involved in a variety of tasks
