India floods

Around 3 million people have been affected by a flooding disaster in northern India.

The devastation is centred on the state of Bihar and follows heavy monsoon rains which caused a river in neighbouring Nepal to change course.

Tearfund is responding through its partners, helping to keep people alive, many of whom have lost everything.

Please help our response to the floods - give here.

Flooding has also affected Nepal. For more details click here.

We are Christians passionate about the local church bringing justice and transforming lives - overcoming global poverty.
So our ten-year vision is to see 50 million people released from material and spiritual poverty through a worldwide network of 100,000 local churches.
