Tearfund is rebuilding the lives of tens of thousands of people in Myanmar (Burma) affected by Cyclone Nargis.
We are working with church-linked partners, based in the country, to help those hit by 120mph winds and a tidal surge when the storm struck on 2 May 2008.
According to UN estimates, 140,000 people died or are missing as a result.
Some 800,000 people were left homeless and rebuilding homes has been a priority of Tearfund's local partners.
