London carol concert to benefit Tearfund - 14/12/03

Acclaimed choir Pegasus has joined forces with Tearfund to present a concert of carols this Saturday 20th December at St James’ Piccadilly in London’s West End.

The Carols by Candlelight will be held at St James' Church Piccadilly at 7.30pm and will comprise a festive programme of carols from around the world, interspersed with readings. The programme will include carols for choir and audience, and Finzi's 'In Terra Pax'.

Tickets £10 (£8 concs.) are in aid of Tearfund and can be reserved in advance or will be available on the door.

Pegasus are one of London's leading young chamber choirs, having appeared extensively on radio and television.

Says Samir Savant, Chairman of Pegasus choir: 'For this special concert, we have put together a lovely programme of carols from around the world, including carols for both choir and audience.  We are delighted to be working with Tearfund, and hope that people will come to this event to support Tearfund's valuable work.’
