Finance director to leave Tearfund

23 July 2010

Richard Gough will leave the post of Finance & Trading Director at Tearfund in November 2010, when he and his wife will spend the winter running a ski chalet in the Alps before taking up new challenges in 2011.

‘Richard has made a huge contribution to Tearfund over the twelve and a half years that he has been the Finance and Trading director,’ says Matthew Frost, Tearfund’s Chief Executive.

‘He has guided Tearfund through many changes including the recent recession, and has been a great support to me throughout my five years at Tearfund.  He has led the finance and IT group with enthusiasm and professionalism, and has championed the role of enterprise in lifting people out of poverty.  We will miss him enormously.'
