On prayer

What is prayer? What does prayer mean to you? Rob Bell, Joyce Meyer, Stafford Carson and Tim Hughes talk about what prayer means to them, and what they've learnt about talking to God.
Rob Bell is an American author, Christian speaker, and the founding pastor of Mars Hill Bible Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has become internationally known for creating and presenting a series of short films called NOOMA.
Joyce Meyer is one of the world's leading practical Bible teachers. A New York Times bestselling author, her books have been read by millions.
Reverend Stafford Carson became minister of First Presbyterian Church, Portadown in 2005. In 2009, he was installed as Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland – the most senior office-bearer within the Presbyterian Church in Ireland.
Tim Hughes is Director of Worship for the Anglican Holy Trinity Brompton Church, central London, and a nationally-known worship leader across many other denominations.

We are Christians passionate about the local church bringing justice and transforming lives - overcoming global poverty.
So our ten-year vision is to see 50 million people released from material and spiritual poverty through a worldwide network of 100,000 local churches.
