Lynne Hybels launched Tearfund's new church resource, Alive, in Manchester.
Lynne Hybels accepted our invitation to come to Manchester. Lynne has been, for some time, an advocate for the church’s role in combating HIV and AIDS.
Part of Tearfund's 10 year vision is to halt the spread of HIV and reverse the impact of AIDS in the communities where we work.
Our new resource Alive shows how access to treatment is a vital part of this. Introduce your congregation to the local church in Gondola, central Mozambique and see how you can give the gift of life this Christmas.

Tearfund international staff visit North West region
On Saturday 19 April, the North West region was privileged to have, as guest speakers, Mbairodbbee Njegollmi and Natasha Soprunova.
Mbairodbbee has recently been appointed Tearfund’s Country Representative for Burkina Faso, and Natasha for Central Asian States.
This was an inspiring time for all those who attended, as Mbairodbbee and Natasha talked about the work that they do in their respective regions, and the situations that some of our partners find themselves in.
It was also encouraging to hear about the work that Tearfund does in these areas, and the support that our volunteers help to provide.
Regional speakers
Please let us know if you would like one of our regional speakers to help at any events you may be organising.
Over the past few months our speakers have been to schools; Christian Unions; prayer breakfasts; women's meetings; youth groups; prayer groups and house groups and have also preached at church services.
Many of our speakers are able to draw on their own overseas experiences.
We also have display boards, posters and other resources that you can borrow for any events you may be organising. Please get in touch.
