Low carbon man

To the unenlightened, Ben Clowney is a glutton for punishment. To those in the know, he’s a guy who puts his beliefs into action.

Earlier this year Ben participated in 40 days of environmentally-healthier living, with a simple energy-saving action each day.

But that's not all. Ben kicked off his carbon-curbing commitment with seven days of camping in the Tearfund car park in February.
Ben recorded his thoughts and actions during the week here.
Who is he? Why did he do this? Has he done anything like this before? Really, why did he do this?

We are Christians passionate about the local church bringing justice and transforming lives - overcoming global poverty.
So our ten-year vision is to see 50 million people released from material and spiritual poverty through a worldwide network of 100,000 local churches.
