Catastrophic flooding has devastated huge areas of India, Nepal and Bangladesh, affecting 41 million people. More than 1,200 people have died, nearly three quarters of a million homes have been destroyed or damaged and crops and livestock have been swept away.

The need is enormous and the scale of the destruction is vast. Tearfund partners have been on the ground since the floods began, distributing food, tents, blankets, clothes, sleeping mats, mosquito nets, cooking utensils and safe drinking water.

Once people’s immediate needs have been met, we’ll be there to help them rebuild their lives: re-planting crops and vegetables, replacing lost livestock and providing long-term access to clean water and sanitation.

The people of South Asia urgently need your support. Please give what you can today.

We would also value your prayers as our partners work around the clock to reach the most vulnerable.

Thank you for your support as we follow Jesus where the need is greatest.

In the event that we raise more than is needed to support our work, your gift will be spent on reducing the impact of future disasters.
