At Tearfund, we believe in being open and accountable to our supporters. We want you to know where and how we spend your money.
For every pound that Tearfund receives, approximately 90 pence is spent in direct delivery of our work in emergencies, development, campaigning and advocacy. Approximately nine pence is spent raising funds (which is the same level as or lower than similar organisations) and less than one penny in every pound on administration and governance, ensuring your money is spent as it should be.
As a limited company and registered charity, our accounts are independently audited and submitted to Companies House annually and we also report to the Charity Commission, an independent body that regulates activities of charities in the UK.
