Who's who

  • Our president, Dr Elaine Storkey, acts as a figurehead and represents us publicly in high-profile settings. She's passionate about the role of the local church in tackling poverty and speaks up for justice in public debates.

  • We have a number of vice-presidents, who are all highly respected in their walks of life. They volunteer their time to represent Tearfund publicly, and help us to tell the stories of lives being transformed around the world as we work to tackle material and spiritual poverty.

  • Tearfund relies on the counsel of our board members, who come from a range of backgrounds and who share our passion for seeing people released from material and spiritual poverty wherever we work.

  • We are very grateful for the support of our Friends, who generously give their time to support individual projects and campaigns as we work together to tackle poverty and speak up for justice.

  • The members of the Executive Team are the directors of each department within Tearfund.
