Other ways to give

There are many ways you can give to Tearfund - as a trust, or church, company, in shares or even while you shop.

NB: If you wish to donate to Tearfund by cheque, then please make it payable to Tearfund and send it to the following address: Tearfund, Freepost SEA919, Teddington, Middlesex, TW11 8BR.

If you have any queries about donating to Tearfund, please contact our Supporter Enquiries team on 0845 355 8355 (for callers within the UK, charged at local rates) or 0044 845 355 8355 (for callers in the Republic of Ireland).

  • Tearfund’s income has always come mainly from individuals and churches in the UK and Ireland. It’s important to us that we work with the church in the developed world to empower the church in the developing world.

  • A major gift to Tearfund can have a significant impact on our work and as a donor you can be part of that journey of transformation. Our Major Gifts team are here to work with you, helping you choose the projects you’d most like to support and keeping you updated on progress.

  • So you’ve decided to do a sponsored event to raise money for Tearfund. What next?

  • Leave a legacy to Tearfund and you enable life to go on even after you’re no longer here. Your will can be a last act of love to those you leave behind.

  • You don’t have to be a billionaire or even have a bank account to give to Tearfund. There’s no amount too small to give and there’s no age too young to start.

  • Companies can support Tearfund in many different ways: either with one-off gifts, regular giving, by donations to the general fund, or by supporting a specific project.

  • Grant-making trusts are an important source of income for Tearfund, often providing us with additional income for projects that we cannot fund from our usual budget.

  • Did you know that you can use shares to make a tax-efficient donation to Tearfund?

  • Why not donate antiques, collector’s items or other items of interest to be auctioned, and see how much you can raise for Tearfund?
