‘I love the miracle stories of Jesus,’ says Sita, ‘because when it seems impossible for man it is still possible for God.’
Sita might just be 14 years-old, but she already knows what matters in life. She works hard to help around the home, but squeezing studies in alongside her chores is not easy. Every day is packed for Sita. Along with her school work, she helps to wash clothes, clean her family home, look after her siblings and help her parents out with their business cooking snack food. And as one of the few Christians in a Hindu community, life has added complications. Yet her faith helps keep her going, especially when God intervenes to break an impossible situation.
That is what happened when the local church provided her family with a buffalo. It helped her parents to get their food business off the ground, giving them dignity and hope for the future.
