Cajamarca: a village surviving against the odds

Cajamarca stands in the Andes, a land of harsh beauty. ‘The soil has grown old,’ explains Pastor Eulogio, and it struggles to support the community. Add in a changing climate and an uncertain economy and it’s clear that the people are having to learn how to adapt.

Pastor Eulogio and Tearfund partner Warmis are helping that change to take place. They teach villagers how to farm more efficiently, as well as helping them retrain with new skills that will bring in a more sustainable income. What this community in transition needs are people who can invest in them as they prepare for the future. You can become part of this today, standing alongside them as the adventure continues.

Building the future begins today in Cajamarca: join us now.
