Churches that thrive, not just survive

Are you looking for a way to invite your community into church? How about raising money to help transform the lives of people living in poverty? If so, then keep Saturday 16 November free because the Big Quiz Night is back!

This is your chance to gather your friends and family for an epic evening of poverty-beating, community-building fun. We want to see 500 churches taking part across the UK to help bring an end to extreme poverty. Will your church be one of them?

Transforming Communities one quiz at a time

The money your quiz raises will support our Transforming Communities programme, helping local churches around the world lead their communities out of extreme poverty and into a sustainable future. This is about local people creating lasting change for themselves.

We have a vision to see hundreds of thousands of thriving churches transforming communities around the world – but we need your help. By taking part in Big Quiz Night, you can be one of the 500 churches we want to see signing up to help bring an end to extreme poverty.

Sign up, invite your community, and have a great time quizzing the night away.

In the background, there are other tables with people seated, indicating the presence of multiple teams participating in the quiz. The scene exudes a fun and competitive atmosphere with people laughing and enjoying the experience. Photo 2 shows a man and a woman wearing bright yellow Tearfund branded t-shirts, standing side by side and smiling at the camera. The man is on the right side of the image, wearing a jacket and the woman, who is standing next on the left, is holding a cup in her hands. Illustrations of Sherlock Holmes and Peter Pan characters are interacting with the photos on a blue background. The illustration depicts Sherlock Holmes in his classic detective attire, holding a magnifying glass and a smoking pipe, while Peter Pan is shown in green flying with his arms open and carrying a musical golden pipe.
