Tearfund’s Christmas Family Adventure

Looking for something fun for all the family this Christmas? Wish there was something to help your kids focus on the reason for the season, and make a difference to families around the world who are struggling right now?

This December, Tearfund is partnering with Fischy Music and churches across Scotland to bring you our Christmas Family Adventure – a fun day for all the family!

So dig out those Christmas jumpers, warm up your singing voices and bring the whole family along for a morning of live music, tasty treats, Christmas crafts, games and much more.

We’ll also be offering face painting, a hot chocolate station and plenty of mince pies. Plus a chance to put your creative skills to the test in making your very own Christmas tree decorations!

Be sure to invite your friends along, too, to join the festive fun.

Who is Fischy Music?

Fischy Music has been supporting the health and wellbeing of children across the UK and beyond for the last 24 years through songs and music. They specialise in writing songs for children, and with children, that express a wide range of emotions. They also resource churches with songs that make a connection between everyday life and a loving God. We are really looking forward to singing with them and with you this December!

Make a lasting difference

These events, taking place on the first two Saturdays in December, will be raising funds for Tearfund’s Christmas Appeal. This year, we are focusing on the refugee crisis in Burundi, where Tearfund partners are helping to restore peace to communities as they recover and rebuild their lives in the aftermath of conflict.

We’ve all been disturbed by the scenes of conflict that have filled the news this year. It’s hard to imagine what it must be like for the people caught in the middle of it – but this Christmas, we have the opportunity to do something about it. Poverty isn’t God’s plan. You are.
