Kester began with farming and eventually bought livestock, built a home, and now supports her extended family. She even purchased a second property, which she rents out to generate income. Through her group, she continues to share what she’s learned and encourages other women to set goals and rise together.
With the support of her church, her community, and generous Tearfund supporters, Kester has broken free from the cycle of poverty. Today, she uses her new skills to help her community, supporting local orphans and helping victims of gender-based violence.
Will you turn hope into action for more women like Kester around the world?
