Barrie Kay

'Dear Barrie, I thank God for the fun we had together, the morning crosswords, the laughter around past stories, the shared love of detective dramas and the trips out to the last drop and the lakes. I was so sad not to be with you on the day you died, but I was grateful to be able to talk with you those couple of days before and to hold your hand and pray. The lord is your shepherd and I trust that you are with him and more alive than you have ever been. May God hold you fast in his everlasting arms and comfort all your friends and family.'
