'Margaret was a much-loved member of St John’s Church, Harborne for many years. Throughout her years of faithful service overseas, she kept in close touch with the congregation, and once retired, it was a joy to have her faithfully serve God in various aspects of ministry in Birmingham, particularly in the ministry to older people. She was a woman of great courage and deep faith, who shared and taught from the riches of her own close relationship with God, and the depths of her experiences of serving Him. Margaret was always willing to spread God’s love to others around her. She is sadly missed but now safely at home with her Lord and Saviour. '
