How to use your Lent resource
This seven-week devotional resource is designed to be used in a group setting, such as in your church small groups or prayer meetings. Each week includes:
- a Bible passage from one of the gospels
- a short reflection
- stories of restoration from Tearfund’s work
- a written prayer
- questions for discussion
Each devotion should take around 30 minutes, but you can easily adapt it to suit the needs of your church.
Theme of restoration
This year’s theme is restoration. In the gospels, we read story after story of Jesus restoring people to their God-given potential. He was showing them a glimpse of God’s kingdom and his plan to renew all things. And he’s doing the same today.
