They say it’s impossible for one person to make a difference,
but impossible is just a word, one that breaks upon the insistence
of souls that align themselves with compassion,
who put their faith in love and put that love into action.
With God’s love, any one of us can turn the darkness to light,
send out ripples of change that stretch beyond sight.
With God’s love, hope can be breathed into weary lands,
communities brought to life, power put back into their hands.
Any one of us can leave a legacy of transformation –
a legacy that will impact lives, lives that could change a nation
as every act of kindness brings heaven to earth,
showing people wounded by injustice their God-given worth.
