Thank you for signing up to join the COP26 Day of Action on Saturday 6 November. Here are the details for each location:

London: Meet at George Yard EC3V 9DH from 11:30am. Toilets will be available. We’ll pray together at 12 noon, and then walk to St Michael Cornhill to join the march. The march will start at 1pm and make its way to Trafalgar Square for 3pm.

Glasgow: Meet at St Silas Episcopal Church, 69 Park Road, G4 9JE from 10:45am. At 11am we’ll hear from some of our overseas staff and partners, and pray before walking to Kelvingrove Park to join the march. The march will start at 12.30pm and make its way to Glasgow Green for 3pm.

Cardiff: Meet at Eglwys Dewi Sant, St Andrew’s Crescent, CF10 3DD from 10:45am. At 11am we’ll join with CAFOD and Christian Aid to pray, and then walk to City Hall to join the march. The march will start at 12.30pm and make its way to the Welsh Parliament for 3pm.

Belfast: Meet at Central Church, May Street Presbyterian, BT1 4NA from 10:45am. At 11am we’ll join with the Evangelical Alliance, 24/7 prayer and Christian Aid to pray, and then walk to Cornmarket to join the march. The march will start at 12 noon and make its way to City Hall for 1pm.

At each of these marches, we can offer you a placard or you are welcome to make and bring your own.

Other locations: You can see all the other organised marches here. If there’s a march near you, do make contact with them now to find out the details.

We’re sorry that, for some, there won’t be a close enough event. If that’s the case, could you gather a few friends or folks from church and organise your own prayer walk or event locally? Do let us know if you do this. You could also join in with Oxfam’s World Climate March: register on the site, take a photo or film yourself walking for climate justice and they will project your picture on a mobile billboard in Glasgow!

Any placards you’ve ordered will be posted out to you a week before COP26 starts. If you would like any more, please email our friendly team at [email protected]

Do also check out our short guide with everything you need to know about attending a march, and consider who else from your church you could invite along.

For other ways to pray and take action around COP26, visit www.tearfund.org/cop26. We’ll send a final email in early November with any last-minute updates. If you have any questions in the meantime please email our friendly team at [email protected]
