How we work
Advisory Committee
The Well Advisory Committee is chaired by a Black Majority Church trustee, with the committee itself being made up of 11 individuals, all of whom are respected leaders in the Black community. Meeting quarterly, the committee is tasked – among other things – with helping to establish and shape new policies, processes and campaigns.
Members of the committee are invited to sit on all the other Tearfund Board committees to ensure integration, representation, mutual learning and sharing of ideas.
The Well Champions
The Well Champions are individuals who are prominent leaders and influencers within the Black community; people who are well-known worship leaders, preachers, musicians, activists etc. As they have a wide level of influence in their local communities, they will promote and champion The Well in their churches and networks.
We are thrilled to have incredible people on board who will champion The Well, and who will help us in our mission to tackle injustice and global poverty.
