God's love compels us to go to the people hardest to reach, irrespective of their faith, and to follow Jesus where the need is greatest. God doesn’t abandon anyone, and neither will we. We’re in this for the long haul and we’re looking for people who will go the distance with us. Together, we can help people progress from disaster and despair to hope and self-sufficiency. We’ll keep you updated on the work you’re investing in, meet with you in person and invite you to inspiring events. There’s also the option of going on one of our vision trips, so you can see first-hand the fruits of your generosity. How much you engage with us is entirely up to you.

There is great strength in unity. We are all part of God’s church; members of a body that is called to bring good news to the poor. Trusts and foundations are a vital part of Tearfund’s work – standing together we can do so much more to bring God’s love to those oppressed by poverty.

 

Tearfund has a uniquely Christ-centred, church and community-led approach. We equip local churches to be salt and light, and empower people to lift themselves out of poverty and enjoy whole-life transformation. We want to work in partnership with you to bring this about.

 

Together, we can respond quickly and effectively to disasters, develop communities to unlock their potential, mobilise the local church to bring about whole life transformation in their communities, and change the unjust policies that keep people locked in poverty.

 

We want to enable you to give to a situation that is on your heart. We have the expertise, skills and experience to implement a wide variety of transformative projects – from equipping churches to transform their communities to providing safe water and sanitation and helping prevent child trafficking. We will ensure that your support goes towards a cause that matters to you and fulfils your objectives.

 

Measurement and impact are a fundamental part of everything we do, and our team will keep you informed every step of the way. We are equipped to provide detailed reports on the progress being made, ensuring that you meet your charitable aims. You can be assured that you will see holistic, sustainable and measurable change.

If you have shares to sell, it is most cost effective for us if you sell your shares through your own stockbroker and donate the proceeds of the sale to Tearfund. We can provide any letters you need from Tearfund as part of the process. Please call 020 3906 3906 or email [email protected].

 

If you prefer, you can consider using ShareGift, particularly for small shareholdings. You can request that ShareGift donate the value of the shares to Tearfund but we will not know that the gift has come from you.
