The Justice Conference is returning to unite Christians to explore social justice issues, this time with a truly global audience as the event is taken online for the first time.

The event, which is hosted in the UK by international Christian relief and development agency Tearfund, is going fully digital and joining with 11 Justice Conference hosts from around the world. They will bring together voices to discuss Christianity’s response to global injustice.

During the 24 hour online broadcast, starting on Saturday 22 May at 7am, the conference will dive into the life of Jesus and explore the biblical narrative of restoration as it relates to the work of justice in our society. Main stage talks and breakout sessions will look at the places Jesus visited and explain why he chose to go to them, in his pursuit of justice.

Globally recognised Christian leaders such as Lisa Sharon Harper, founder of Freedom Road (USA), Roy Njuabe, Head of Refugees Opportunity & Development (Hong Kong), Danielle Strickland (Canada) and Dr Krish Kandiah, author, social entrepreneur & Tearfund Ambassador (UK), will prophetically reimagine the work of the gospel for our current times.

More speakers are to be announced in the lead up to the event and will come from all corners of the world to help attendees understand how they can follow Jesus’ examples and strive for justice in their context.

Dot Tyler, the UK’s conference co-director, is excited for this year’s event, ‘We’re thrilled that we’re able to bring together Justice Conference partners from across the world and share that God is at work in the midst of the world’s chaos, and we can partner with him in transforming and restoring our relationships, communities and world.’

The Justice Conference is an event for all Christians, from all expressions and denominations of church, that want to explore the theme of justice.
