Tearfund is a Christian charity working in more than 50 countries where conflict, climate disaster and injustice push millions of people into extreme poverty.
We’ve worked with more than 3.3 million of the world’s most marginalised people to help them move themselves out of poverty for good.

Every day, more than 830 million people wake up in extreme poverty, living on less than £2.20 per day.
We’re called to live and love as Jesus did. To go to the hardest places, stand with the most vulnerable, and refuse to accept lives being destroyed by extreme poverty. That’s why Tearfund exists. Not just to respond to poverty, but to help end it.
