The climate crisis is hitting those living in poverty the hardest.
As Christians, we don’t have faith in fossil fuels: our faith is in God. So, we’re gathering together to pray for climate justice 24 hours a day for ten days in Westminster, the home of the UK Parliament. You can join us in person by booking a slot through the 24/7 Prayer site or you can pray from home using our resources. Email us on [email protected] to tell us you are praying from home (so we can encourage those in Westminster), or to ask any questions about attending events in London.
We’ll start at 12 noon on 14 February with a service in Waterloo, which Ruth Valerio will help lead. Tickets are available here. The vigil will end with a service outside Downing Street at 2–3pm on 24 February.
This vigil is being organised jointly by Christian Climate Action, Christian Aid, Tearfund, CAFOD, Green Christian, Operation Noah, A Rocha and the Salvation Army. It aims to reflect our calling to be both prayerful and prophetic about the climate crisis.
Join us as we pray for creation, our global neighbours and bold climate action from the UK Government.
