What is a Generosity Collective?

By setting up or joining a Generosity Collective, you're starting a journey with a group of like-minded Christians to support a Tearfund project of your choice. The concept is simple but the impact is huge, for both you and the communities you support.

Your joint target will be between £5,000 and £10,000 per year. Between you and your group, the impact you’ll make will be huge, for both you and the communities you support.

End extreme poverty together

Your generosity is needed more than ever. Every day, more than 830 million people wake up in extreme poverty, living on less than £2.20 a day. That's more than ten times the population of the UK.

But Jesus’ love leads us to act. So why not join others who refuse to look away from extreme poverty and follow where his love leads? Together, you can turn your passion into an unstoppable force for good.

‘Giving and generosity is an expression of love… it's a way of setting yourself free from the hold of money and possessions.’
Osagie, community member

What our members say

  • Giving as a group of friends has deepened my own understanding of God's economy and brought me into a new lifestyle of giving that I'd never experienced before. Collective giving has helped me love God and love others in community.

  • It’s been amazingly energising to spend time with other people who are passionate about the same things and want to pray for the same projects. I thought when we started it was about me committing to give money to something, but actually we are a team, so the best thing has been seeing that team grow in relationship together.
