Tools that explain climate change and environmental degradation and help communities to protect and care for their environment and adapt to a changing climate

This Bible study is based on Leviticus 25:1–7, Leviticus 26:33–35, Deuteronomy 20:19–20 and Matthew 10:29–31.

It makes the following key points:

  • The Sabbath is important to God because it gives us rest and time for relationships.
  • Similarly we need to not exhaust the environment.
  • The Sabbath is also a time that reminds us of Him.
  • The whole of creation is important, not just people. Caring for creation is part of building God’s Kingdom.
