Meeting with decision makers, such as local government officials, business leaders or religious leaders, can be an important and useful advocacy activity. This tool can help you ensure these meetings are as effective as possible.

It includes guidance on how to prepare for and arrange meetings, how to establish rapport, present requests and keep on track during these meetings, and how to follow up successfully after they have taken place.
