An international climate-themed service – a way for your church to join in with prayer and worship for climate justice

During the UN climate talks, COP26, churches across the UK hosted Tearfund’s COP26 Church Service – a climate-themed service featuring Pete Greig, Carol Ng'ang'a, and Celtic Worship.

You can watch and download the different video segments below. Please feel free to use these videos in your church, and drop us a line at campaigns@tearfund.org to let us know.

Speakers and artists

Pete Greig is a best-selling author, pastor and ‘bewildered instigator’ of the 24-7 Prayer movement which has reached more than half the nations on earth. He is also the Senior Pastor of Emmaus Rd, Guildford, an ambassador for Tearfund, and teaches at St Mellitus College in London.

Carol Ng'ang'a is a community development practitioner who has spent the last ten years walking alongside communities to support and strengthen them. She has a BTh in Community Development from Cornerstone Institute in Cape Town, and in July 2017, she founded Msingi Trust whose aim is to ‘mobilize, inspire, equip and network Christians and community leaders towards social justice, social activism and social transformation’.

Celtic Worship is a Scottish music worship ministry which blends traditional and contemporary Christian Worship music with the powerful sound of bagpipes, whistles and fiddle. Their mission is to combine their working life as professional musicians with their deep love of Jesus and their passion to share God’s love through their music.
