YOUR HELP COULD BRING RESTORATION

Nadine’s past is filled with sadness. So much so that she cannot speak of it – all we know is that she lost her first husband and their three children. She then fled her home and village, resettling with the Mbuti community in the Ituri Rainforest of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

The Mbuti Pygmy community are stigmatised to such a degree that they are exploited and can’t get proper jobs. Their relationship with the neighbouring community is a broken one, where they are not treated or respected as they should be.

We have a relentlessly loving God who says he will never leave us nor forsake us. This Lent, as we remember how he sent his son to save us, let’s show our brothers and sisters around the world they are never forgotten.

the Lent Appeal
could provide two families like Nadine’s with training in farming techniques.
could provide training for ten members to restore the relationships between Pygmy and neighbouring communities.
could provide seeds and tools for 12 people like Nadine to grow their own food and provide for their families.
