He is our rock: a declaration

Though the year has been full of turmoil, our God never abandons or forsakes us. We’re declaring his greatness.

He is our rock: a declaration

I will sing a new song (Psalm 96), I will open up my mouth with praise and thanksgiving and declare that He is the Lord (Romans 10:9), Almighty God!

Praise the one at whose voice waves ceased (Matthew 8:27), waters parted (Exodus 14:21) and the stars found their place (Job 9:9), The Holy One (1 Samuel 2:2), Creator of heaven and earth (Isaiah 42:5).

I will lift up my voice and declare that there is life (Proverbs 18:21), that there is hope (Job 5:16), that there is a God who makes a way (Isaiah 43:19).

I will cry out with a voice of triumph that will not be silenced by circumstance (Colossians 2:15) that he is great – and greatly to be praised (Deuteronomy 7:21)!

Let the words on my lips establish the kingdom of God (Proverbs 18:21), though the earth quakes and the mountains tremble, I will not fear for my God will not be moved.

He is our Rock, our Fortress. In Him will I trust (Psalm 46).

Join with us online for a powerful week of prayer to kick off 2021.

We’re hosting an event called Declaration

Why?

Though our world may be shaken, though the past year has been full of turmoil and trouble, we are not abandoned or forsaken (Psalm 139). Our God has not left us powerless. We, his people, called by his name, wield, in our hands and hearts and mouths, the power to invite him to intervene in our lives and our world. To pray, as Jesus prayed, that his kingdom come on earth – to call out to him and expect that he will hear our cries, that he will heal our lands (2 Chronicles 7:14). He is our God, in spite of whatever challenges we may face. Through Christ, our God made a way for us to approach him (Hebrews 10:19), so let us join together and proclaim boldly (2 Corinthians 3:12) the truth that changes our lives and our world.

Take courage!
