Mona Evans passed away aged 92 having supported Tearfund for more than 30 years.

Mona Evans
She was particularly interested in missionary work and chose to support several charities through gifts in her will, one of which was Tearfund.
Her Nephew Brian described her as, ‘A keen and enthusiastic woman of prayer to the extent that on her headstone are the words from James 5v16 “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
‘Tearfund was close to her heart in that she saw it bring hope and transformation to many in need.’
