Give thanks for our incredible supporters here in Northern Ireland. Ordinary, faithful Christians. Generous, committed churches. Businesses with a heart to bless others. We give thanks for each one. Pray for our small team as we seek to encourage people to respond to God's heart for the poor and oppressed. Pray God's blessing on every part of Tearfund's work in Northern Ireland.
Monday 27 October
Beth Parfitt, Head of Communication and Digital Strategy
Pray for the Communications and Digital team as we navigate the ever-changing online world and respond to the diverse needs of different audiences. Pray that we make wise and strategic choices about the platforms and technology that we use. Pray for discernment in the words we use, ensuring we remain faithful to God's calling.
Tuesday 28 October
Peter Cashman, Head of Church and Supporter Engagement (Individuals)
Pray for the work of Tearfund staff and volunteers who speak in churches and at Christian events and gatherings across the UK. Lord, help them to share clearly the stories that make the reality of extreme poverty known, as well as uplifting stories of lives transformed. Be with them and encourage them as they invite all those they meet to consider supporting Tearfund. Amen.
Wednesday 29 October
Sarah Greenwood, Head of Media
Pray for the Media Team as we work to get the stories of the people Tearfund serves into the awareness of the general public (and particularly Christians), and pray that the journalists we speak to will be inspired to share them widely and with compassion. Pray for journalists to be bearers of light in the world, and also for protection for those working in dangerous contexts, telling the stories of people facing humanitarian crises.
Thursday 30 October
Jake Clifford, Head of Church and Supporter Engagement (Churches)
Thank God for the numerous churches around the UK who support the work of Tearfund. Please pray a blessing over our supporter churches: those who pray and give regularly; those who have supported our appeals; those who have a Church Rep or a Tearfund Speaker; the churches who run Big Quiz Night and other fundraising programmes. We are so thankful for all our volunteers who make this happen.
Friday 31 October
Beatrice Roy, Scotland Lead
Please pray for our Scotland team, for the incredible gift they are and all they do to see God's kingdom come. Pray in preparation for this next season, especially for our Christmas events at churches around Scotland, and for those travelling to support our work across the world and witness all God is doing. Please also thank God for the wider team of supporters, churches and volunteers across Scotland and around the globe who, through God's amazing grace, make all the work we do possible.

We are so thankful for the talent and hard work of each member of our Fundraising and Communications team.
